2) 1-day Group Maths-Centred Interview Course

Dates: Various weekend dates available

Location: Live on Zoom

Mock interview: get a 30 min mock interview resembling an Oxford Maths or Computer Science interview and receive individual feedback. Your mock is held in front of the other students to help to replicate the pressure of the real thing.

Observe the interviews that other students get, allowing you to learn from each other and compare approaches to the questions

Live Zoom Courses:

1) 4-day October MAT Course

Dates: October 25th – 28th

Location: Live on Zoom

Times: 10am – 4:30pm (9am first day)

Prerequisites: Suitable for students who have studied Year 12 A-level Maths and Year 13 differentiation and trigonometry

Builds on the material from our Maths Summer School.

  • Content (first day – original questions in the style of MAT Qs 2-7):
  • Sketch and analyse bizarre new functions, or construct them yourself
  • Handle polynomials of any order
  • Master intricate rule-following questions
  • Learn to adjust every parameter and anticipate the consequences
  • Count and classify new abstract objects, possible and impossible
  • Content (last 3 days – Maths problem-solving practice from MAT & STEP):
  • Use relevant MAT & STEP questions to deepen your understanding of polynomials and multivariate functions
  • Master graph sketching through the use of problem style questions from multiple sources
  • Gain greater fluency with advanced trig identities and problem-solving with the chain, product and quotient rules.

2) 1-day Group Maths-Centred Interview Course

Location: Live on Zoom
