Cambridge University has just introduced some pre-interview written assessment tests, needed for 2019 entry. The tests take place in late October or early November (register via the Admissions Testing Service).
For Natural Sciences Courses at Cambridge University, you will be required to sit the NSAA (Natural Sciences Admissions Assessment). If you choose to specialise in Physics, you will have to sit the Mathematics, Physics and Advanced Mathematics and Physics sections of the paper.
If you get a high enough score, you will be called for a Maths and Physics problem based interview.
